Planning Your Budget
Disc golf courses are very flexible. The scope of your project, target audience, and your imagination all play an important role in defining the “personality” of your course. A simple 9-hole course can be built on as little as 2 acres for around $3000. Championship courses typically require 1-2 acres per hole.
Disc golf courses can be installed in phases and upgraded over time. Concrete tees, benches, trash cans, practice targets, alternate pin placements, and bridges are all features that can be added after your course is first established.

Course Elements
There are four basic considerations when installing a disc golf course: targets, signs, tees, and course design.

Targets
Targets are the most important piece of equipment for your course. The DISCatcher® Pro is approved by the Professional Disc Golf Association.
Signs
Tee signs provide information about the par, distance, and any obstacles. They help players navigate the course. There is a tee sign option to fit every budget.

Tees
Tees provide a surface from which disc golfers “tee off”. Tees should be as maintenance-free and slip-resistant as possible. Natural, recycled rubber, and concrete are some of the options to suit your course and budget.

Course Design
Design is a critical factor in the long-term success of any disc golf course. A good designer will help maximize your disc golf investment.
