Goals:
To play the best golf I can. To putt everyday and throw drives/play golf. To qualify for the USDGC. To make the Final Nines of the N.T.'s worlds, USWDGC, and any other tournament that has a Final Nine. To get more women playing golf. Plan on tourning til '06 and then assess my status.
Most memorable event:
Well the Japan Open - The whole format was great. All the americans in the same area, the food, the experience. Winning was just a plus, but being in Japan, the best. Roaming with Val was great, we developed a good friendshop. Plus we had all the boys over to play inside ball. Good times. The tea, all you could drink and Japanese TV.
My favorite events:
Japan Open - Very well run, the people were awesome, the food, the players, very professional and TOP RATE!!!
Florida - Melbourne, and the other events in FLA, but the TD in Melbourne is great and gives me beer coupons. Also, I like the course and the ocean to swim in after the rounds.
Beaver Fling - Great Course, attention to detail on running the tournament.
Women's Nationals - Old man and crew do a great job. Courses are fun, different and challenging.
Memorial - Because it is the first NT of the year and everybody is together. Fountain Hills makes the tournament, but the Shelly Sharp champion course is fun.
Most memorable win:
I guess the KC Wide Open because it was my second NT win and it came down to the last hole. Lesli Herndon and I were battling the whole Final Nine and that is how golf should be. Each person playing their best til the end.
Advice:
To keep on it, if it was easy, there would be no challenge. Find people who are better than you and play golf with them; watch their form and style. Practice, Practice, Practice. Putting, Driving, Approaches.
Additional information:
Looking forward to a great season with new plastic.
Special hollar to Brian and Barry for being great supporters of me and always in my corner last year.
