Distance Drivers:
Star TeeRex – Power drives/long control hyzers (This disc can handle power without sacrificing control)
Star Wraith – Extremely fast distance driver (a few degrees less stable than the TeeRex)
Fairway Drivers:
Star Teebird – Overstable control driver (over time becomes an excellent staight stable driver)
Star TL – Straight stable right out of the box (excellent control driver)
Star Leopard – Long anhyzers (a very stable version of the leopard)
10x KC Pro Whippet – Spike hyzers (small diameter so it doesn't stay in the air too long)
Mid-Range:
11x KC Pro Roc – (1) Understable (1) Medium (1) Overstable
Putt & Approach:
11x KC Pro Aviar – (1) Understable for left to right upshots (1) Straight stable for medium range upshots (1) Overstable for longer power shots

Goals:
Win
a supertour event and continue to improve my game from
year to year. Top 10 at 2005 Worlds and USDGC.
Most memorable tournament:
Japan Open 2004 - Bent grass fairways, golf carts,
five-hour rounds, mountain views, average hole lengths
of 400ft,
and O.B. on every hole. WOW! Not to mention breakfast
buffets, dinner buffets, and oh yeah, it’s JAPAN!
I managed to find O.B. ten times during the first round
and was one of the only players to improve on their
score when the wind increased to 30mph the second round
making this a very memorable competition in addition
to everything else that makes this experience of life
time so special.
Memorable Win:
Graceland Open - It's an amazing campus course with
ponds, elevation, distance, and notorious winds. I came
from behind against Kevin Babbit (for my first finish
ahead of him) by shooting a course record. I had so
much nervous energy that my hands were shaking and I
could barely sign my scorecard.
My favorite events:
USDGC – Year in and Year out an extremely professional
event on one of the most challenging courses around.
Worlds – No matter where it’s held, bringing
500-1000 people together for a marathon event is awesome.
Masters Cup - This is another extremely well organized
event, on an extremely fun course.
KC Wide Open – I love the courses, and it draws
the best competition every year.
Advice:
Never give up! The more tournaments I play, the more
I realize that your never out of it. I've had
several hot final rounds that have moved me into
the cash and sometimes the winners circle. I've
also had several tournaments where I thought
that I was out of it, only to find out that a
stroke or two would have made the difference.
80% of golf is mental. So if you can learn to minimize
the negative thoughts in your mind and replace them
with positives, you can increase your successes on
the course dramatically. Read books on the mental
game of ball golf, and you'll discover great parallels
that can strengthen your mental approach and focus.
And I'll just repeat what I've learned from several
of the Innova team members - Practice in an open
field and play catch with a friend. Seeing the entire
flight of a disc on flat ground is priceless when
learning, and playing catch with upshot discs offers
the repitition required to really groove a smooth
stroke. No matter what level your at, seek out advice
from local veterans or course pros, they'll be able
to fast track your game quicker than trying to figure
everything out on your own.
MOST OF ALL - HAVE FUN!
