My favorite events:
(Any event that has a solid Director, great courses, a talented field and a big purse make a solid tournament. The ones that take it to the next level with high energy staff, sponsored food, beer and camping are my favorites)
Maple Hill Open aka MSDGC-Call it what you want, the formula is solid
Japan Open-Amazing course, event and culture
Minnesota Majestic-Timmy G is taking it to the next level
Disc Golf Cruises-Ever play a tournament on a small private tropical island?
Memorable Win:
Winning 2 World Championships with my wife, best friend,
and lover as my partner.
Advice:
Enjoy your company, your surroundings, and yourself
at all times. The game of disc golf can be as simple
as you want, or as complicated as you can make it.
There is a distinct learning curve and if you enjoy
youself all the way along it, you'll have fun and
get better at the same time. Take time to learn the
flight characteristics of a simple approach disc.
Try various angles, speeds, and distances. The more
you learn from playing catch this way, the quicker
the learning curve.
Additional comments:
Disc Golf really does change lives. I have many, many
people who quantify that statement every year. Help
support this amazing game by taking care of your courses,
keeping your karma shiny and doing what you can, when
you can. We all have gifts to share.

Goals:
Short - I gotta win a National Tour event.
Long - Continue to perpetuate the sport so it may impact others lives in the positive way it has affected me.
