First DGPT Elite Event Overseas

The PCS Open presented by Innova is returning this year as the first ever Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Event held outside of the United States. Innova is proud to be back as the events title sponsor for the second year in a row. The tournament will take place from July 13th – 15th in Vestnes, Norway at Øverås Diskgolfpark. Spectator passes are available through Eventbright and all three rounds will be aired live on the Disc Golf Network. Follow score updates during each round for all your favorite players on Udisclive.

About Øverås

Øverås Diskgolfpark is as beautiful as it is challenging. Rolling hills, manicured greens, treacherous, glistening water hazards, and expansive views over the Norwegian Fjords make this area of southwest Norway one of the most idyllic disc golf destinations in the world. Scenic as it is, the course played extremely tough in year’s past. Last year, even par averaged nearly 1020 rated.

Returning Champion, Gregg Barsby

Team Innova’s Gregg Barsby took down the event in 2022, winning one of the most unique trophies in disc golf, the PCS battle axe. Barsby let out a powerful roar as he tapped in the winning putt. The Barsbarians, reveled in his victory cry. At last weekend’s Des Moines Challenge, Barsby had his best finish so far this season at a DGPT event, taking 3rd. Hopefully he can make some more magic happen in two weeks in Norway — we just can’t imagine anyone else looking as good Gregg brandishing that trophy.
