The Championship Moves to Rock Hill

It’s a big weekend for college sports – No, we’re not talking about the NCAA Final Four; we’re talking about the 2024 College Disc Golf National Championship! The premier event in College Disc Golf will take place from April 3-6 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Over 150 teams and over 500 athletes from across the nation will compete at this PDGA Major proudly presented by Innova.

This year, the tournament will be held at a new location in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the home of the United States Disc Golf National Championship. The event will take place across five courses in three locations: Camp Canaan, Westminster Park, and the famed Winthrop University.

Heading into the week, the winning teams from last year in both the Men’s and Women’s division hold the number one ranking. For the Women, Missouri will be hunting down their third consecutive National Championship title. In the Men’s division, Cincinnati hopes to go back-to-back. Both teams will have their work cut out for them, playing against the deepest field College Disc Golf has ever seen.

A Big Part of Disc Golf’s Future

Innova sees collegiate disc golf as one of the biggest opportunities to grow the sport and one of the best avenues to help young, aspiring disc golfers reach new heights. The format adds a team element to an otherwise individual sport, building communities at each participating school. We hope College Disc Golf can one day be to professional disc golf what college basketball is to the NBA.
