Pair of Podiums for Team Innova

Elite+ means more rounds, more pressure, higher stakes, and bigger payouts. Team Innova’s Hailey King and Calvin Heimburg both rose to the occasion to make the podium at the 2024 Ledgestone Open. Hailey made an impressive comeback to finish in a tie for 2nd place in FPO. Vinny played consistently through four rounds to tie for 3rd in MPO. Ohn Scoggins and Kevin Jones also delivered standout performances, both securing 5th place.

King’s Comeback

After a slow first day that left her in a tie for 21st place, Hailey King battled all the way back into a tie for 2nd place. She shot hot -8s in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds and then came out on fire in the first holes of the final round. She was 2nd in Parked percentage, C1 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. Hailey also took 2nd place earlier this season at the 2024 DDO. She is knocking on the door of a win with Worlds just two weeks away.

Back in the States, Back on the Podium

After a so-so stretch in Europe, Calvin Heimburg is back on a Disc Golf Pro Tour podium. He tied for 3rd place at the 2024 Ledgestone Open, marking his 5th DGPT podium of the season including two wins. Vinny led the field in C1 Hits in Regulation and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. He was also 2nd in C2 Hits in Regulation. Calvin currently sits in 4th in the DGPT World Standings for the 2024 season. He is the highest-rated player without a Major win and both Worlds and the 2024 USDGC will give him great opportunities to earn his first.

Ohn Scoggins’ Putting Perfection

Ohn Scoggins alternated between good days and excellent days at Ledgestone. The highlights were two 997-rated -7s in both the first and third rounds. Her exceptional putting in the third round really stood out — Ohn made 9/9 putts from C1x and 4/6 from C2. Ohn currently holds the 3rd spot in the 2024 DGPT World Standings.

KJ Figures Out the New Discs

Kevin Jones made an impressive leap from a tie for 20th place after the first round all the way to 5th place. His final two rounds, a 1072-rated round three and a 1054-rated final round, showed Kevin’s super high ceiling. This top 5 finish is KJ’s best of the season and comes in just his 4th Elite or Major event on Team Innova.

Top Innova Performances

Emerson Keith tied for 11th place, leading the field in Parked percentage and finishing 2nd in Strokes Gained Putting. This is Emerson’s second consecutive 11th place finish and it comes at just the right point in the season to start heating up. Joel Freeman also tied for 11th and only missed two C1x putts all event.
