#9

Calvin Heimburg – Texas States – Hole 8

Kicking off our list at number 9, we’ve got Calvin Heimburg at Texas States with one of the longest putts of the season. This one was marked a throw-in but check out that video. From Circle 3, Calvin Heimburg nails a jump putt from a spot any mortal would have been happy to just get up and down. He shot a blistering -11 that round and went on to take 2nd place at the event.

#8

Jennifer Allen – TPWDGC – Hole 1

What a way to start off the second round of the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship. Jen Allen with the beautiful skip ace on hole one of the Winthrop Arena in front of her cheering fans. She shot a -5 front nine that may be the best played nine of the event.

#7

Robert Burridge – Des Moines Challenge – Hole 3

Robert Burridge wins the award for clutch putt of the season. This putt from deep Circle 2 was to push a playoff at the Des Moines Challenge against competitor Simon Lizotte. Most players of Robert’s experience level would crack under that kind of pressure. Burridge though? Dead center 50 footer.

#6

Juliana Korver – Great Lakes Open – Hole 13

At number 6 we have five-time World Champion and long-time Innova Team member, Juliana Korver, with a blind throw-in for eagle at the Great Lakes Open. That was her second eagle of the round! JK’s first World title was won in 1998. Over 20 years later and she’s still got it.

#5

Calvin Heimburg – The Preserve Championships – Hole 9

Just Vinny doing Vinny things. That’s a 280 foot throw-in for eagle on hole 9 of the Preserve. Check out the full video to see his appropriately hyped reaction.

#4

Bradley Williams – The Preserve Championships – Hole 5

What do you do when you find yourself out of position, stuck in the woods, with a tough up and down to save your par? How about throw it in for birdie and go on to win the tournament. Bradley Williams’ insane shot on hole five at the Preserve was completely blind from over 250 feet back.

#3

Joel Freeman – Beaver State Fling – Hole 13

This shot from Joel Freeman has to be the sickest ace of the year. Tied for the lead in the final round, Joel skips it in on the 400 foot, hole 13. He went on to take 2nd place to Innova Teammate Garrett Gurthie.

#2

Hailey King – USWDGC – Hole 17

When you turn the camera person, you know you crushed it. Hailey King blasts a massive drive deep up the heavily wooded fairway of the tricky par four, hole 17, in the third round of the United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship. But that was only half of the work. She goes on to cash the C2 putt for the eagle and finish -9 for the round. That put her within striking distance of the lead. In the final round, Hailey went on to earn herself her first Major title.

#1

Calvin Heimburg – Jonesboro Open – Hole 1

No surprise to see Calvin Heimburg take the top spot on the list. We already talked about the clutchest putt of the season. Here’s your clutchest drive. On the first hole of a playoff at the 2022 Jonesboro Open, Calvin watched McBeth’s drive land out of birdie range. Calvin then stepped up to the tee, gave a wave to the roaring crowd, and absolutely based the 470 foot, uphill, hole 1 for the win. What a shot.
