I came 2nd place in my only competition in a club champions-ship in 2001.
Advice:
Play for fun and always play against yourself. Cheer on your friends and support them even if you are having a shitty round.
Just to have fun and become a better and more consistent player.
Goals:
"I started playing disc golf in the late '90s with some friends. I played for a couple of years, but due to life and some real anger management issues, I stopped playing around 2005.
Jump forward to 2020.
All of my touring got canceled. The European cup in football got canceled. Movies are canceled. Shows are canceled. Life is canceled.
A friend of mine asked me in early June if we should play some disc golf.
And here we are.
This summer, disc golf has been a great escape and a fantastic activity to do when all else has been put on pause.
Getting a handle of my rage has been paramount, and now playing rounds is a great way to help me get focus and energy to create and write and stay sane in these weird times.
I am thrilled that my friend talked me into getting back out on the course, and I am beyond chuffed that Innova has made me some "celebrity ambassador."
Here's to a brighter future when things can get back to normal, and I can travel and play shows. I'll be sure to bring my discs.
All power to the people. "
