Paul McBeth is The Memorial’s defending champion and is currently playing like he never left the course. Blistering rounds of 45 and 44 have given him a commanding lead over most of the field. First round leader Dave Feldberg struggled a bit on day two, but remains only 3 strokes back.

Will Schusterick fired an impressive 45 yesterday to keep pace. He now has 5 shots between him and the top of the leaderboard. These three will tee it up together again in today’s final group.Valarie Jenkins is also playing extremely well and leads the women’s division by 4. After round 3, Jim Oates is holding a 4 shot lead over local legend, Dan Ginnelly. Dan is among Arizona’s finest and is always tough to beat in Phoenix. Dan is trailed by Joe Mela, who’s got a strong hold on 3rd, leading 4th place by 6 strokes. It should be another gorgeous day for competition. Good luck to everyone there!
