Paul McBeth (-36) captures his first NT title with an amazing display of consistent putts and monster drives! Paul managed to hold off some of disc golfs best competitors including Nikko Locastro and Innova teammate Josh Anthon who tied for 2nd (-33), as well as Ken Climo “The Champ” (-32). Valerie Jenkins just fell short of the win due to an impressive finish from newcomer Paige Pierce. Patrick Brown finishes 2nd in Masters. Jim Myers wins Grandmasters.
Memorial Day 3
Paul McBeth regains the lead by continuing his precise, consistent play (-29). Hot rounds put Nate Doss into 2nd (-27), Barry Schultz into 3rd (-26), and Nikko Locastro (-25) into a 4th place tie with Josh Anthon (-25). Tomorrow promises to be a day of spectacular Disc Golf! At the end of day 2 of the Memorial, The Champ himself, Ken Climo shot an incredible round (44) to take the lead (-20). Paul McBeth continued his solid performance from yesterday and is only trailing Climo by 1 stroke (-19). Fellow Team Innova members Paul Ulibarri (-18) and Josh Anthon (-17) are right on their heals.
