Sarah Stanhope was in third place, 5 strokes behind the lead at the start of the final round. Sarah shot an amazing 12 under par, 1020 rated final round to win her first major title by three strokes over second place finisher Valarie Jenkins. Des Reading finished fifth. With her victory, Sarah earns the right to compete in the USDGC in her home state of South Carolina.
In other events, new team member Paul Ulibarri wins the Southern Idaho Championships. At the A-Tier Augusta Classic, Dave Feldberg finishes third, Matt Dollar places fourth and Kevin McCoy places fifth. Avery Jenkins finishes second at the Patapasco Picnic with team members Mike Moser in third and Steve Brinster in fourth. Josh Anthon takes second at the 31st Gold Pan Open while Derek Billings places third.
